I don't want the prompts to move around when the text in the fillable fields exceeds a line and wraps down to the next line. I am repeating a whole table everything works fine except for the format where the text is from right-left and is aligned right, yet when I add section the text changes to left-right and is aligned left. Also I cannot figure out how to keep the prompts in a certain location on the document. Hello, I am using MS word on Office 365 specifically 'repeating section content control' which is under the 'Developer' tab. Dont just leave the text selected, click ESC then reselect across the prompt text (select everything between the strange box bracket things) Overtype the text with your chosen prompt. Volunteering to 'pay forward' the help Ive received in the Microsoft user community. But when I go to test out the form, I cannot use the "tab" or "enter" keys to move to the next field. For instance, you can bind a reserved region with a text box. You can reserve certain areas in a Word document for content control. I have attempted using the "Developer" tab in Word and have been successful in adding fields that can be filled in, I then locked editing to "Filling in forms". Click where you want to insert the control. Content Control in MS Word is a way to protect areas of your document, and allow users to only change specific areas. I have attached an image of what I want the form to end up looking like when its all done. The document would then be saved as a separate document leaving the original document unedited (like a master template). The form would need to have preset prompts that cannot be edited and fields that can be tabbed through and filled out. My end goal is to have this form shared via Icloud. I am trying to create a fillable form in Microsoft word for my outside sales guys to fill out after stopping by one of our customers.
