Even just offer your region settings so I can copy or some way to do a full reset? I'm not quite sure what to do now, as setting system locale to 'Japan' will again, prevent VNR from hooking text. This works, and I can see the Japanese text in 'Text Settings' being hooked and translated again. However, some VNs in-game text are back to showing as random characters, which is not the case with a 'Japan' system locale.
Recently I was messing around with my PC's time region, so maybe that affected something? (I set it to Japan because an old VN wouldn't work without this setting, but I've since changed back to English/UK).Ĭurrently, my temporary fix is to restart after setting everything to English/UK and launch VNs with NTLEA (through VNR). ITH by itself still hooks fine and can grab text (Even with Japan sys locale). I've always had my system locale set to 'Japan' since I first got VNR, so I was surprised today when I attempted to play numerous VNs I know hooked in the past, but instead, the games quickly freeze and crash (Only crashes on the first launch, after that, I can play but game text doesn't show up in 'Text Settings' boxes).
